Lyne Tumlinson, Career Fitness Pro for Career Lift, LLC, helps mid-level professionals and their organizations to identify and capitalize on their natural strengths and connect as a team to achieve their goals. Through personal coaching, presenting to association groups and facilitating strategy with teams, she helps clients to bring their best to current challenges, clarify purpose and realize success for the future.
Tumlinson’s coaching work follows an eight-year stint with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), with four years as director of career services providing resources for members’ career success as well as working as liaison between association members and their employers, providing data, programs and communication resources.
Tumlinson, a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Career Fitness Pro (CFP), is currently studying with the Coach Training Institute to attain the Certified Professional Co-Action Coach (CPCC) credential. She is also a Candidate member of the National Speaker’s Association through the Kansas City chapter.
She was previously employed at the University of Kansas as the International Programs director of outreach from 1992 – 2001, where she worked with graduate students to build their careers on their academic experiences. Her BA is in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. Tumlinson also earned an MA in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Kansas.

Diverse passions and interests beyond career coaching include directing the choir for Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Overland Park, Kans; running and swimming; family travel, including to son Stephen’s swim meets with Ad Astra Area Aquatics; golf (both playing and business aspects); as well as the cultures, history, religion and travel in Russia.
